Looking for info on Robert DOUGLAS and his wife Daisy May (HAYWORTH) Douglas. They lived in Lima Ohio in the early 1900s. I know of one son, my grandfather, William Fenner Douglas born Sept. 1900 in Lima. Robert was working with the Lima fire dept. at that time. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am researching the BUCKMASTER family in Allen Co. Their daughter Martha Anne was born there in 1835. They may have moved on to Putnam Co. at some time because Martha Ann m. John FARABEE in Putnam Co. in 1853.

I am looking for any information on my grandfather, William James MARA, b. 6/15/1894 in Geulph Ont. Canada. He dissappeared from MI in the 1920's was gone for 20 years and reappeared. Upon reappearing he told his family that he had lived in Lima Ohio and had married and had one son. He then informed everyone that his wife and son died in an automobile accident while he was driving in the mountains. I am hoping to find any information on him during this time, 1920's -1940's.

WARD: Early pioneer Allen County family. William WARD at one time had 1500 acres of land in Allen and Putnam counties, purchased about 1830. On his death in 1852, he willed the land to his following children: Daughters: Elizabeth (Mrs. Henry) MOYERS; Nancy Ann (Mrs. James) McCRAY; Sarah (Mrs. Isaac) MYERS or MOYERS; Lydia (Mrs. William) HITCHCOCK; and sons: James, George, Jacob and Peter. I have information on the family that I would love to share that information.

My father, Gordon HUFFINE, was born in Van Wert, Ohio in 1903 His father's name was Frank Edward HUFFINE and his mother's name was Daisy CHAMBERS. The census of 1900 lists a John HUFFINE living in Van Wert whom I believe, but am not sure, was my grandfather's brother. ANY information you might be able to give me about the Van Wert Huffine families would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking information on Salem REED and Elizabeth (Napier) REED. The settled in Shwnee Township and had eight children. Clarissa; Walter Cledith; Smith Hamlin; Samuel William; Sarah Lulu who married Frank PLAICE (or PLACE;) Florence Laverne who married Clyde COLEMAN; Maude Sylvania who married Clarence MC DANIEL; Ida May who married William HOOVER. Salem came to Allen county in 1853 with his parents Samuel and Mary (Akers) REED and settled in Section 14 (whatever that means). Also, William HOOVER, who settled in Allen County in 1869, son of John and Bernadina HOOVER, William HOOVER married Ida REED (daughter of Salem and Elizabeth Reed) and had a furniture store HOOVER Brothers in Lima and Mansfield Any information whould be most appreciated!!
