FENNER/MITCHELL/HOVERMAN-Photographers in Allen County. I am attempting to date old family photos, would like to find out when these photographers did business in Allen County. FENNER Bros.-Lima, G. MITCHELL-Lima, HOVERMAN- Spencerville. All pictures were likely taken between 1900-1920, but may have been late 1800’s.

I am looking for information on Dorr MONROE born about 1844 in New York who in the 1920 census for Lima, Ottawa Township, Allen Co. Ohio was living with his daughter Alice DEPEW born about 1878 in NY and son in law Frank DEPEW born about 1878 in NY.

I am researching the family of George GODFREY who resided at 312 McPherson Ave in Lima sometime around 1900. I have several photos and little else to go on other than the fact that Mrs. Godfrey was my Grandmothers 2nd cousin. She (Mrs. Godfrey) had 3 sisters and to make matters worse, the link appears to be maternal although that is not positive. One of the photos refers to a son Charles. I know that this is a slim lead, but I would appreciate ANY information. I would be happy to share the referenced photos with any Godfrey (Lima/Allen/Ohio) decendants.

Looking for the family of Mayme FISHER. She was born in 1887 in Albany,New York. Her parents were Porter and Sarah DEY ERMAND . Mayme lived at 134 N. Woodlawn Ave,Lima ,Ohio until her death. Siblings were Jessie who married a LEONARD and moved to Peoria,ill. Clyde WESBY, Lambert Dey Ermand ,Charles Dey Ermand, all of Lima,Ohio . Looking for information or descendants of John Idge MORRIS b. 23 March 1864 in Morgan Co., d. 04 March 1933 in Muskingum Co. From Noble Co. birth records, I found three children: William (Lee) MORRIS b. 14 Jan 1893, d. April 1981; Norval McCleary MORRIS b. 23 Nov. 1895, died 8 April 1983 in Allen County, OH, married to Pearl BARKEN; Ethel Morris b. 29 May 1899. Ethel was thought to have married C.E. DUFF and resided in the Allen county area. I would really like to contact any remaining family member(s) and share Morris information.

I'm looking for information on William HOLMAN (Feb. 4, 1803-Mar. 25, 1855) and his wife Sarah (Apr. 15, 1803-July 15, 1887). I believe that Sarah's maiden name was FREDERICK and that she and William lived in Ross County, OH, before settling in Allen County. I don't know when they moved to Allen County, but I know it was before 1850 as they were listed in as residents of Allen County in the census. I also believe that they were the parents of Frances "Fanny" HOLMAN (Feb. 26, 1840-Jan. 10, 1887) who married John Arthur BLAIR (Aug. 12, 1832-Jun. 7, 1915) on Apr. 12, 1857 in Allen County. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated, but I am particularly interested in locating William's will. Thank you so much for your time.

I am interested in info on fam of Hon. John Parker BAKER and his wife Kate HOOVER BAKER, who m. 1886 Allen Co. OH and lived Lima OH in Allen Co at least in early 1900's. Their children (known) were Lee, who m. daughter of Kirby WHITE and had a child Robert, Fred b. abt 1908 and Earl. My connection is Kate Hoover Baker, she is the sister to my Sam B. HOOVER and I have many photos to identify and share that may be this family. Any direction or info is appreciated!
