I am looking for Joseph REESE born 1800 in PA, died 1862. He was married to Polly YOUNG and they lived in Bluffton, Allen County, OH as well as Putnam County, OH. I am not sure of the dates and I know they had several children but only know the names of two of them: Nancy REESE ZELLER (she married Melanchton ZELLER in 1866) who was born June 1845 in Allen Co, and Elijah REESE (he later married Eleanor Hermian BALLARD) who was born in 1840 in Allen Co. I have not been able to find him on any census report or official document of any sort.

KANE, Edward (wife Mary O'brien) my great grandfather believed to have immigrated from Ireland at the end of the 19th century and resided in Lima, Ohio. Had six children born in Lima starting in the 1890's to possible early 1900's. They were Walter KANE (my grandfather, wife Louise DEW), Patrick KANE (wife Pearl Opperman from Wapakoneta still alive at age 97), Edward Kane (married but had all daughters) and Joseph Kane, James Kane, and Mary Kane who all never married. Seeking information on this branch of the family. Especially city/county of origin in Ireland. My great aunt talked about visiting Ireland with Patrick KANE and referred to a place called "Cappamora" but I can find no listing for a town in Ireland by that name although I believe it was near Dublin. I would also like to get the address of the family home in Lima. My great aunt Pearl said it was on Broadway (no number given). I believe my great aunt Mary KANE lived in the house until her death (a retired bank employee?) and then was sold. This may have been 20 years ago or more. Mary KANE also raised the estranged daughter of Patrick KANE from a previous marriage whose name was Ruth KANE. I understand her last name may be BLACK but am uncertain. I would like to find out if she is still alive so I might be able to gain additional information on this branch of the family. Help from anyone would be most appreciated.
