Looking for relatives of Henry and Mary KOCH who were born in Lima, Ohio in the 1850's. Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery. They had 8 children (Twins Oscar and Otto, Louis, Addie, Fred, Carl, William, Ella). Oscar KOCH was my grandfather.

John TAFLINGER moved to Allen County (Lima) Ohio in 1854 with his wife, and his son (my Great Grandfather) Thomas F. Taflinger, who had been born in 1852. They came from Rockingham, VA. The wife's maiden name may of been Nicely (spelling uncertain). John was supposedly killed by a train in Lima (possibly around Metcalf Street), probably sometime from 1855 to 1870. APPLE, RIDENOUR - I am searching for Apple kin. Henry Jackson Apple, b. Jan 27, 1830 in Clermont (Co?), Oh, married Mary Ridenour, b. Feb 28, 1839, on Jan 31, 1852. They lived in Allen Co. and had 10 children: Henry, Stephen, Theodore, Ulysses, Serenus, Thomas, Mary, Clemeth, Hazard and Clifton. Clifton married Bertha Metz on Jun 2, 1900 and had 2 children, Henry (my father) and Foster. I would be especially interested in any information on Henry Jackson Apple who died Mar 13, 1902 and his ancestors.

LOGAN: Searching for information on Frederick Logan - wife's name unknown, marraige info and parent's info unknown. EUBANKS; Allen Co., Ohio, USA; 1862-1905. I'm looking for information about my g-g-grandfather, Edgar EUBANKS. He was born on September 19, 1862 in Ohio and married Elva Catherine EVERSOLE in Allen County, date unknown. Edgar's mother's maiden name is Sarah DARBY, his father's name is uknown. I'm interesting in finding any additional information about where he was born, as well as his parents.

Looking for information on Wilber MEANS, my grandfather. He lived in Lima in Allen county, Ohio. He was married to Ruth SULLIVAN. He passed away just before I was born in February, 1943. He might have died late in 1942. He had a military burial, so I know he was a veteran. I can find no death certificate for him in Lima. Some of his family from Lima were Daisy SEALTS dob. 1879, dod 1974 and Thomas and Leota HOFFMAN. Her dates are dob. 1888, dod 1973. I do not know how they were related to Wilber. Any help will be truly appreciated.

PIFER, My family and I live, in Allen County, Lima Ohio and we can find nothing on our ancestry beyond my grandparents, Forrest Pifer (married to) Verda Pifer. Both of them died Forrest in the mid-80's and Verda in the early 70's. They had 2 children Niles and Nichole, Niles is my father. However beyond that we have no information about our family. We don't know if Forrest had siblings or who his parents were or anything. We all do believe however that my Great Grandparents have lived in that area Lima or Allen County.

I am Searching out the descendants of John Peter ETGEN (ETCHEN) and his wife Susan Etgen nee LAUTERBURG. They were married in Seneca county, Ohio on August 24, 1857. They moved to Moterey Township in Putnam County aound 1858. They were members of St. Johns Parish in Delphos, Allen County, Ohio. Their Children were; Peter who married Clara BRINKMAN, Mathias who married Mary L. SUTTER, Paulina who marriesd John RUNSER, Catherine, Susanna, John, William, Otilla, Mary Matilda and One unknown Child. John Peter died In Ft. Wayne Indiana at his daughters home Mrs. Joseph PEMBERTON on January 25, 1921. Susan Lautergurg Died on March 16, 1877 Her burial place is unknown but John Peter is buried at St.Johns Cemetery in Delphos along with his Second wife Clara Brinkman Etgen, nee PAPENBROCK, Who just happened to be the widowed mother of John Peter's first sons (Peter) wife Clara Brinkman. John Peter was the son of John and Catherine Etchen of Seneca County, Ohio. This is very confusing to work on because John Peter's brother John Nicholas also lived in the same vicinity for a time and also had a large family but he and his family would later move back to Tiffin, Ohio. Thanks for any info you may be able to help with.
