HALM, STUMP: I am looking for any descendants of Simon HALM (1824-1883) who was married to Shopia STUMP (1828-1866) daughter of William STUMP, all of Lima. Their children that lived to adulthood were William Burrows HALM, John Clinton HALM, Granville Ottawa HALM, Albert Corwin HALM, George Moody HALM, and Mary Ellen HALM. Another daugher, Lucie Alberta HALM, married my grandfather, Joseph Stephen CULLINAN, and moved out of state. My family never had contact with any relatives except the following descendants of George Moody HALM: Ilene Belle UEBELHOER, Ruth UEBELHOER GRAHAM, Margaret UEBELHOER WIENER, and Carol WIENER HIGGS. I would appreciate any knowledge of these people or their ancestors.

Looking for info on Patrick and Mary (GAYNOR) KELLY who are buried in Gethsemani Cemetery in Lima, OH. Both born in Ireland and had two sons, John and Christopher and maybe a daughter. John married Elizabeth BARGA of Darke County and Christopher possibly lived in Shelby Co. John and Elizabeth had seven children.

Looking to find a connection to the following names John DAVIS and his Wife Rebecca BIRD who were living in Jackson township, Allen Co, Ohio. John Davis was born in Virginia in 1780-85 and died in 1855 Jackson Twsp and Rebecca was born abt 1806 in Ohio or PA. they had two known children A Charles born in Ohio and a Peter born in Ohio. They can all be found in the 1850 census, John was marr to a Elizabeth JONES while living in Milford twsp Knox Co, Ohio also from Virginia she died in 1828 in either Hiller or Milford Twsp in Knox Co, Ohio after her death John removed to Jackson Twsp Allen Co, and remarried, John had at least two or more children by Elizabeth a John Davis JR. and a Matilda it is believed she married a Arnold RIGDON and John JR. married Lucinda TEAGARDEN . Have a lot of info to share.

Seeking information on the BOWDLE family. William Brown BOWDLE died at the age of 102 in 1932. His mother was a daughter to White BROWN. William Brown BOWDLE was a resident of Allen County and a Civil War veteran.

BEST; Van Wert Co. and/or Allen Co., Ohio, USA; I'm looking for information on my father's family. My grandfather, Leander John BEST, was born in 1900 in Delphos, Ohio, and died in August, 1962 in Delphos, Ohio. He married Priscilla KIGGINS (or KEGGENS) in or around 1921 and fathered eight children. I believe his father's name was Joseph BEST.

Son Jonathan born ca 1808 in N.J. died 1890 in Allen Co., OH. Jonathan listed on 1850 & 1870 census for Auglaize Twp., Allen Co., OH. Jonathan married Mary and known children were: Charles William BAILEY b. ca 1842 in Allen Co., OH and James M. BAILEY born ca 1849 in Allen Co., Ohio.
