Caleb HUNSAKER (1848- ) and his wife Catherine MOWERY Hunsaker (1849- ) lived in Allen County during the period 1917-1927. They were both born and raised in Hocking County Ohio and were married 31 January 1869. Their children included Noah (b.1869), Ida, Nancy, Mary, Jennie, Cora, Ellen, Bertha, Charles, Daniel, Thomas, and Amos. I would like to know where and when they died, and any other information about their children. Thank you.

Searching for information on the following Leota REICHELDERFER b. Mar.21,1886 d. Feb.17,1988 Allen Co. Lima Oh. Parents Amos REICHELDERFER and Leana CRIDER. m. Jun.22,1910 to Marion VERMILLION. Marion and Leota had 1 daughter Kathryn b. Aug.12,1911 Allen Co. Lima Oh. d. Jul.7,1997 Lima Oh.Kathryn m. Carl HORN b. Apr.17,1906. Kathryn and Carl HORN had 1 son. name unknown, but know he had 3 children. Leana CRIDER was a direct descendant of the founder's of Cridersville Oh. Would like to have any information on the decendant also.

WHITEHERSE, WHITEHURST - My great grandfather, Samuel Whiteherse, was born in Allen Co. in 1846. I believe his parents were Tolliver and Nancy Whitehurst, who are buried in Ridge Cemetery in Allen Co. They are listed in the 1850 census in Allen Co., with a son Samuel, whose age agrees with my great grandfather. I am trying to verify this.

Children: John Franklin, Francis Ephraim, George Washington, Lena Catherine, William Edward, Flora Celestia, Mary Adaline, Margaret May, Harriet Vandlia. All the children were born in Allen Co. and all are buried in Shawnee Cemetery Allen Co. Lima Ohio as are Abraham and Mary CRIDER Sometime around 1900 Abraham served 4 yrs. as township treasure.

David D. MILLER married Mary Alice MOWERY about 1880, somewhere in Ohio. Mary Alice Mowery was born in Perry Co., Ohio on 20 December 1860 and died about 1902 in the Lima Ohio area. They had a family including Moses, Samuel, and Effie Miller PETERS (b.1888). I do not know when they moved to Allen County but I believe that they were there in the 1900-1930 time period and maybe longer.

Edward MARCHAND, also used name BEAUCH, bought land in Richland Twsh (Blufton area) on July 20, 1852. Can't find any records of purchase. Edward was born in Sonvillar, Switzerland, 1829, came to USA 1835-36, married Christina STAUFFER on June 4, 1857. He died Dec. 18, 1860. Would like to know how he died and where he is buried. Edward & Christina 's kids are; David MARCHAND (BEAUCH) and Mary Ann MARCHAND (BEAUCH). Henry STULL had guardianship of them.

BEAUCH, David, and sister Mary Ann: born MARCHAND in Allen Co, 1860 & 1857, to Edward MARCHAND and Christina STAUFFER MARCHAND. Want to know why the family started using the alias BEAUCH. When Edward died in Dec. 1860, Henry STULL became guardian to David and Mary Ann. Their mother, Christina later married Henry STULL. and they moved to Michigan.
