He died in 1899, and is buried with his wife, Susan in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Christian was also a farmer and his date of death or place of burial is unknown.

FRENI, GRABER, SENNER, SUTTER posted by Charlotte Pritchard on Thursday, August 21, 2003

I am of Swiss German Mennonite descent and am interested in obtaining a marriage record of JOSEPH GRABER AND SUSANNA SUTTER married 01-05-1876. Susanna had come to America in 1874 with her sister, KATHARINA (SUTTER) and brother-in-law, JACOB SENNER. According to the Senner family tree, the Senners came to Ohio and stayed there 3 years. It was in Ohio that Susanna married Joseph Graber and their first child, Freni was born in Ohio in April, 1876. Since Allen County was a place for the Swiss Germans to come to, I am hoping that there is some way I can obtain a copy of the marriage certificate of Susanna and Joseph and the birth record of Freni Graber.... Are records available from the Mennonite churches? Can one obtain a copy of records from the churches? Would the Mennonite records be available from the County Court House? JOSEPH GRABER and SUSANNA (SUTTER) GRABER are my great-great grandparents and FRENI GRABER would be my great grandmother.
