BURNS posted by Jon Strebler on Wednesday, February 11, 1998

BURNS, William (born c. 1818) and Mary (born c. 1802).  They were married c. 1840 in either Allen, Hancock, or Seneca county, and then moved on shortly thereafter to Indiana.  William's family was from PA, and were at some point Quakers.  Mary was married once before marrying William.  Her maiden name may have been Casey, or Dunahoo (really not sure).  In Allen county, the town of Lima is mentioned by old family sources.  Any suggestions on a (relatively) easy way to check marriage records for this time period in Lima and environs?  Any suggestions welcome!
