Does anyone have information about the tuberculosis hospital that was operating in the early 1900's? Would they still have records of patients there? I believe my great grandmother, Anna WILLIAMSON was a patient and died there in 1919. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Van Wert County.

In the 1927 obit for Amos LITZENBERGER, she shows daughter Neva SAGER, Lima, OH. Neva was born June 1898 to Amos and Nellie (McGARY) LITZENBERGER. Siblings included John W, Lorinda HAMMELL (later LANSING), and Amy GOODFELLOW. I just found the married name of Amy and Neva, but am unable to find anything else about them.

Benjamin Franklin HERSH died 13 Sept 1847, believed to have died in Allen County. His son, John was born 22 July 1840 in Lima, Allen County. Daughter Sarah married William H. RUSSELL in Allen County on 8 Aug 1854. I am trying to find where and how Benjamin died and if Benjamin had parents or siblings in the area. Benjamin was married to Mary Ellen ELIKER on 30 Jan 1834 in Fairfield County. Benjamin and Mary's other children's names were Daniel Hamilton, Julian, Mary Elnorah and Henry Harrison.

I've reached a brick wall in my family research of the Murray's who lived in Allen & Putnam Co's. I've been unable to locate the parents of George W. MURRAY or any other information on him. If you have any knowledge of the family that might lead me in the right direction, I would be very appreciative. Here's what I have so far: George W. MURRAY'S 1st marriage was to Anna TEEGARDIN on 12-29-1853 (Lima Democratic Newspaper) by Rev. Michael Martz in Allen Co. Ohio. George may have been born in NY or OH abt. 1831. 2nd marriage was to Nancy (FULLER) BARFELL. Children of George & Anna were: 1. PFEIFER. Nicholas PFEIFER and Eva ZIOER were early pioneers and prominent citizens of German Twp., Allen Co. prior to 1840. They lived on the Pfeifer farm on the old Pfeifer Road and are buried in Ash Grove Cemetery; which is on what used to be their farm. One of their children Adam married Bertha Westphalia CRITES dau. of Dr. Daniel L. CRITES and Martha JOHN. Another child, Anna Elizabeth married Samuel CLUTTER.
