PHILLIPS, Sanford born abt 1835 in Ohio , was in Jackson, Allen Co. Ohio in 1880 census. I believe he is the son of Samuel H. PHILLIPS and they lived in Liberty Twp, Adams Co, Ohio in 1850. Samuel is my Gr Gr Gr Grandfather. Sanford had a brother by name of Jackson PHILLIPS born abt 1832 in Ohio.. Thank you for any help in finding these families.

VONGUNTEN, Johann; Allen Co., Ohio, USA; born October 25 1817 in St.Imer Switzerland, emigrated to Bluffton, Allen CO, OH in about 1850. He married Anne Schneitter on August 25th 1856. It is here he died on August 8th 1910. I'm looking for information about my great grandfather and great grandmother, My Grandfather Henry Vangunten was one of 8 children. My father Verl Vangunten was one of four children. And I am Richard Vangunten one of two sons. I'm interested in finding Johann vonGunten and Anne Schneitters Parents Or any other information about the Vangunten Family.

Wm.and Emma (Emsted) KNITTLE..I am searching for any info.on my Grandparents who resided in and around Lima,Oh.Emma (Emsted)KNITTLE was living with her Daughter Ethel AMSTEAD in Columbus,Ohio when she passed away around 1938 or 1939.I am not sure of the year.My Grandfather Wm. JONES, John D. and DAVIS, Mary. John was born 29 April 1828 in N. Wales and married Mary DAVIS on 3 May 1853 in Wales. They came to America around 1864. John died 12 Jan. 1896 and is buried in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer, Allen Co., OH. Mary was born 8 Aug. 1828 and died 1 Oct. 1870. John's father, I think, is David R. JONES and Mary's father, Richard DAVIS. Any information on John's or Mary's parents would be appreciated.

ROBINSON, David and EDWARDS, Elinor . David was born in Wales in 1824 and came to America around 1849/50, settling in Marion Twp., Allen Co., OH. He is buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos along with his wife, Elinor. Elinor was born in 1834 in Wales and came to America in 1857, along with her brothers, Josiah and D.J.. I am searching for information on David's or Elinor's parents. Any information is appreciated.

She is the daughter of Peter RIDENOUR and Ebe JOHNSON who died in childbirth. I have the RIDENOURS back to Alsace, Germany thru the help of others. Will share. Sarah married Soloman WOLLET as his third wife. Would like to hear from any modernday cousins! Searching for the parents/ siblings of Carson MOWEN. Carson married 17 Mar 1864 in Lima, Allen County to Sarah C. BARTLETT. Their children were: Ida M. MOWEN b. 20 June 1865 in Lima, Cassie G. MOWEN b. 30 Oct 1866 in Lima and John W. MOWEN b. 20 Dec 1868 in Lima. Carson MOWEN died 11 October 1875 location unknown but wife Susan was living in Allen County in 1882 per her civil war pension application. Last two children living in Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphans home in Greene Co., Ohio in 1880. I am also seeking information on them.
