BOYD; Allen Co., Auglaize Co., Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, USA ~1810 - 1860.  I'm looking for information about my husbands family.  James BOYD immigrated from Ireland ~ 1805 with his wife Bridget Reed FORSTER and 1 or 2 children.  They were living in Tuscarawas, Ohio in 1812.  He died in 1853 in West Minster, Allen, Ohio.  I am trying to find out when he immigrated and from where in Ireland, also more about his family (children and parents).

REED, SNYDER, MASON, BRIDGES I am looking for parents of ARTHUR REED b:abt 1840 & d:14 Oct 1865 during Civil War.  This Arthur Reed was the father of Arthur Reed, b:14 Mar 1866 Allen Co. d:28 Mar 1939 Tarrant Co., TX and William Reed b:abt 1864 no other known info.  Arthur Reed was married to MARILLA SNYDER, b:28 Mar 1842 d:bef 1936 also in Allen Co.  Marilla was remarried to SUMNER F. MASON, son of Jarvis Mason of Bath Twp., Allen Co., OH.  Jarvis is a brother to my GGG- Grandmother, HANNAH MASON who was married to DARIUS BRIDGES and they traveled with Jarvis Mason & his family from Oneida Co., NY to Allen Co. abt 1834.  The Bridges went on up to settle in Wood Co., OH, by 1838.  Hope to hear from other people who may connect to these people.

Looking for additional info on Samuel Ellsworth MAXWELL, born in Allen Co., Ohio on 2/21/1863. He died on 6/6/1935.  He was married to Rebecca MYERS or MEYERS. I have info on Samuel's ancestors but nothing on Rebecca.   Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for any information on the family of William VANDEVEN / VAN DE VEN. He immigrated to the US from Holland in 1860s, went to Bollinger County, & Cape Girardeau, Counties in Missouri -- in the late 1800s he moved to "Lima, Ohio" according to family stories & no one heard from him thereafter.  Any help/information about this family would be appreciated.

Searching for info on George and Mary HODSON.  George was b. ca 1857 and Mary ca 1858.  George was living in Delphos in 1937.  This was listed in a brothers obituary.  Need Marys maiden name and I'm looking for descendants.  They had at least one son W.J. b 1879. Any help appreciated.

TINGLE, MARTZ.  Rev. Samuel P. TINGLE lived in Allen Co., Ohio in the 1830s, 40s and 50s, and had 16 children, some of whom stayed in the vicinity, including Rev. James F. Tingle and my ancestor Truman B. Tingle.  Interested in correspondence with Tingle descendants, or others having info on the family. Rev. S.P. Tingle was closely associated with Rev. Michael MARTZ. Perhaps Martz descendants would also like to exchange info.

KAYSER, Anton born in Lima-Sept.14,1866 . Married Magdalene Bayer April18,1894. Magdalene immigrated from Germany about 1890. They lived in Cinti. where Anton was supposedly a brewmaster. There were two surviving children- Carl Kayser & Norma Kayser. I'm looking for any sibs/cousin?  Thank you!

I am looking for information regarding Rachel STEVENSON (STEPHENSON) (abt 1803-1864), who married Samuel DILTZ (DILLS or DILS) about 1819-1824, possibly in OH, probably in a county not far from Champaign Co. where they removed after their marriage. She may have had a brother or uncle named Mills STEVENSON and may be the daughter of a James or William STEVENSON.  When and where were they married and who were her parents?

HOUTZER, Charles Alton., b. 1874, place unknown, d. 1904/5 in supposed sawmill accident in Lima, OH. Family says information on him was placed on a stained glass window in a Presbyterian church in Lima- I want that info. ** Married to Anna Elizabeth HARTMAN, born in Alliance, OH 1874-1955, lived at 778 Oat St., Lima, OH and worked in a hospital in Lima, she died in Van Wert, OH., buried at Woodlawn Cemetary.  Two children born to Charles and Anna in Lima, allen cty, OH: Herbert Alton, 1898-1962, and Mary Viola, 1901-1961. ** Herbert married in 1917/18 to Cretora Vinona HALL of Lima, OH, 1899-1977,  Three children born Lima, allen cty, OH: Betty, 1919-1997; Robert (my father-in-law), 1922; and Mary Ann, 1925.  (Robert changed his surname to HOWARD in early 50's.)   They divorced in the 30's, Herbert remarried to Jessie HOUTZER,  worked for American Express Co. in Lima then REA in Chicago for 40 yrs.,died in Chicago, buried at Evergreen Cemetary. ** Cretora Vinona HALL HOUTZER  was raised by supposed Lizzie and Ernie HALL who had children named: Curtice, Ernie, Russell, Melvin, Therold and Warren.  Need info. on her parents.  Cretora died in Pasadena, CA, buried in MT. View Cemetary in Altadena, CA. ** Herbert's sister, Mary Viola GARRETT had three children: Louise, Russell and Dorothy, lived at 544 S. Pine St, Lima, allen cty, OH at the time of her death, buried at Woodlawn Cemetary.  Family says that many HOUTZER's lived on Kibby/Kirby(?) St. in Lima and attended a Presbyterian Church by the name of Siferd Colonial Chapel or Olivet Presbyterian church.  I want info. on birth/death dates of Charles from church window, Anna's family, Cretora's family, contact from family of these names.

HARSH Margaret born ? died 6-30-1842 who married Christian STUCKEY .  I have no death  dates on Margaret, but her husband Christian was born in Elizabeth Township Lancaster County Pa on 3-23-1779 and died 10-1-1853. He is buried with Margaret on their farm in a small field cemetery one mile west of Elida, Ohio. I would like to know who Margaret's ancestors were and what her birth date was.

BOWERS William b.? d 9-8-1904 married to Rebecca BARNT who died 1-13-1907. That's all I have on them, would like more infor on birth and where they came from an any ancestors.  Their daughter was Sarah Elizabeth BOWERS born ? died 2-3-1883 who married in 1866 to  David HILYARD born 7-6-1844 and died 3-2-1913.  Any information to fill in the blanks of birth or ancestors would be appreciated.  If I can help anyone else.  I would be more than glad to do so.

VALENTINE Mary Ann born 8-13-1819 died in Allen County, Ohio 9-13-1888 married 3-4-1839 to Jeremiah HILYARD  born 11-10-1817 died 4-12-1855 in Allen County, Ohio.  I would like to know who Mary Ann's ancestors were and where they came from.  Jeremiah's father Thomas Jefferson HILYARD came from Fayette County Pa.as did his mother Elizabeth HAUGHT born 12-28-1783.  Am also interested in the HAUGHT family ancestors.
