I'm looking for the death rec. & obituary for my great grandmother, Ellen SMITH. The only info. that I have is a small write up in a Michigan Newspaper for her burial. The date of the paper is 5-5-1946 & the article states that: "Mrs. Ellen SMITH, late of Lima, Ohio was brought here Monday for burial beside her husband, Henry SMITH. Mr. & Mrs. SMITH were the parents of 10 children, 6 of whom accompanied them to Michigan over 30 years ago when they left Ohio. Since the death of her husband in 1916 Mrs. SMITH has resided in Lima, Ohio."

I am looking for anything about WILLIAM STUMP b. 1798, in either Maryland or Pennsylvania. He eventually settled in Allen County, Ohio. There his daughter SOPHIA married SIMON HALM, son of ABRAHAM HALM AND ELIZABETH KRYDER. The family was Pennsvylvania Dutch, lived in Berks County for a while, and may have immigrated with the large group in the Stump colonies of Virginia and West Virginia. I am eager to find any information on WIlliam's background and parents' names. Thank you.

I am looking for information on James Andrew HOVER, my greatgrandfather. Born in Allen County in 1859;died in Montgomery County in 1921. Married to Cora J. BENNETT. Was tinsman for B&O railroad.

CAMPBELL, Marie?; Allen County, Lima, Ohio, USA; born late 1800's, had daughter Esther Marie (b. 4/17/1912) who was then adopted/raised by the Young family. Esther Marie Young (m. SHAW) was my maternal grandmother. She told my mother that her mother (Marie? Campbell) was Native American, but we don't know from what tribe/nation? I am trying to find info on my great-grandmother in order to trace my Native American ancestry.

BOOTH, Looking for Walter, father was Robert BOOTH a hardware merchant who lived in Mansfield OH. Robert died in the early 1880's I am trying to trace Robert back to his father, possibly an Eli Booth. Eli had four sons, Robert, Mahlon Preston, William and Jacob all BOOTHs. Walter is said to have lived in Lima, Oh. Can anyone help?

My Grandfather, Duward Lowell Burgoyne, was his only son, born in 1908. I'm interested in finding anything relevant. (I've been running into brick walls and dead-ends.)
