WESTBAY - I'm looking for information on my WESTBAY ancestors who lived in Lima, Allen County, Ohio for many years. My great-great-grandmother was Sarah Frances WESTBAY, born 18 Aug 1878. Her parents were William A. WESTBAY and Elizabeth D. FOLK. William was born 25 Mar 1894 (I don't know where) and died 07 Jan 1932 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio. I believe his father was Mathias WESTBAY (no dates). I am looking for any information related to this family, even if it's not my direct line. Sarah Frances WESTBAY had seven brothers and sisters and I would like information on them and their descendants too.

I am searching for the burial site of my gg grandfather Joseph COLLINS. According to information in Memoirs of the Miami Valley (1920, p. 117), Joseph moved to Putnam County from Logan County in 1854 where he lived for a year. He then moved to Allen County a year later where he died. His family eventually returned to Logan County. His wife is buried in Logan County. Any information about Joseph COLLINS will be appreciated.

My GGgrandfather was David M BAILEY. Born 1833? He was a civil war soldier (81st, E&H company) and was killed in Atlanta on Aug. 9, 1864. His mother and father were Samuel and Ann BAILEY and his wife was Angeline. Angeline later remarried a SWANEY or SHRINER. He also fathered a child in 1864 named David Max BAILEY. I have census records of David Max in Bluffton and Bath, Allen County, Ohio in 1870 & 1880. I have a portrait of David M Bailey, done just before he was killed. I am seeking info on the Bailey line.

I have an old BAILEY photograph that I'd like to share with the family. The people in the photo are: Clinton Charles BAILEY, John S. BAILEY, Wilbert Grant BAILEY, Sarah Isnogle BAILEY (the mom) and a young woman whom I believe to be Clinton Charles's wife. Clinton Charles BAILEY married Slyvia L. ADELBLUTE INGLEDUE. Slyvia had two sons, Charles A and Chester A and a daughter Ruth Ellen. Clinton and Slyvia are buried at Salem Cemetery in Westminster, OH. Per the 1910 census for Allen Co., Auglaize Twp., OH Clinton Charlres BAILEY was married to Mary (?) and they had a son Myrle C. born about 1898. C. Clinton BAILEY obit of Oct 6 1967 states son, Charles is living in Harrod, step-daughter Ruth SWAUGER is livilng at 1575 N. West, one stepson, Chester A. INGLEDUE lives in Toledo. The mysterious woman in the family photo is either Clinton Charles BAILEY's first wife, Mary or his 2nd wife Sylvia. Would like anyone related to this family to contact me and help solve the mystery. HEATH, Allen Cty, Ohio, USA, 1858-1919. I'm looking for information about my great-grandfather, James Leonard HEATH. He died in Allen County in 1919, Family resided in Lafayette Twp, High street for many years. I am interested in information on his Father Samuel G HEATH, 1816 and Wife Mary D. (?) 1818-1898 and earlier ancesters.

Eugene J BIRKMEYER Lima, Allen, OH abt 1900 Ohio Head; spouse: Catherine M BIRKMEYER Anastasie; daughter: Rita C BIRKMEYER; Mary L BIRKMEYER, sister to Eugene J, I am researching Rita Birkmeyer's family. Primarily in Allen Co OH. However, Rita moved to Piqua, Miami Co., known to have lived there in 1951. I believe that she had 2 children prior to 1952. I believe she married George FRANK in 1952 and moved to Ft Wayne Indiana. Mary BIRKMEYER died in Wapakoneta a few years ago. Anything else that someone can share would be greatly appreciated.

George Washington TAYLOR: George Washington Taylor was born May 20,1838 in Virginia, to George TAYLOR and Elizabeth Unknown Taylor. He came to Allen Co Ohio before 1858 and on Nov 11, 1858 married Mary CLEMENTS to this union was born the following children: George A- 1861-1862; Mary Elizabeth -1862- 1942; Emeline A - 1863-1885; John C -1868-1956; Ella Malinda 1873- ?; Charles Hugh- 1876-1929; Albert 1879- ? Sometime between 1870 and 1880 they moved to Van Wert Co, Ohio, than between 1900 and 1910 moved back to Allen Co Ohio, George died Oct 23,1918 and Mary Clements Taylor died Feb 8,1919 and both are buried at Hance cemetery Van Wert Co,Ohio.
